An artist's impression of the first man to call at the house
The man is described as in his late 20s
Police have released an artist's impression of a man they want to speak to in connection with a distraction burglary in Swindon.

On 9 May, at around 1630 BST, a man called at a house of an elderly female in The Street, Moredon, asking to check the water supply.

While he talked to the occupant, police believe a second man got in. A total of 250 in cash and jewellery was stolen.

Police are linking the incident to two other distraction burglaries.

The man who called at the door is described as in his late 20s with short, curly ginger hair.

The second man is also in his late 20s, with mousy coloured hair.

The other two distraction burglaries being linked by police both took place on 10 May.

At 1000 BST, cash and a bank book were stolen from the home of an elderly couple in Karslake Close, Eldene, Swindon.

And at 1100 BST, 1,000 was taken from a house in Gainsborough Avenue, Wootton Bassett.
