A church service to remember people who have died from asbestos-related illness and those who are suffering from its effects is to be held on Sunday. The service, at 1600 BST at the old railway church of St Marks, Swindon, will also be a service of thanksgiving.
It will mark the first anniversary of the South West Asbestos Group, a charity providing support for asbestos sufferers and their partners.
The Mayor of Swindon is expected to attend the event.
