Villagers object to mobile mast
Villagers in Hullavington are objecting to a new mobile phone mast which could be built next to a railway line.

Orange want to built a lattice mast to help improve its network coverage on the Swindon to Bristol line.

The phone company says it would be disguised by a group of trees and will also be painted midnight green.

Planners at North Wiltshire District Council granted permission for the mast but villagers say that it would look unsightly.

A final decision on approval has been deferred for further investigations.
