Driver killed in skip lorry crash
A motorist has been killed in a crash between a skip lorry and a car in Wiltshire.

The accident happened at 1230 BST on Thursday between Wanborough and Baydon, near Swindon.

A blue Volkswagen Golf and a lorry carrying a skip collided head-on near the bridge over the M4 motorway.

The driver of the VW Golf, who has not yet been named by police, but is believed to be a 29-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The lorry driver suffered shock and whiplash in the accident, but is not thought to have been seriously hurt.

A number of roads around the Wanborough area were closed while officers investigated the cause of the crash.

Wiltshire Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them.
