Christopher Benson, 20, was struck by a silver Volkswagen Passat outside a car wash on the High Street, in Morley, in the early hours of Sunday.

Mr Benson, from Morley, was taken to Dewsbury District Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

West Yorkshire Police said a Bradford man was arrested on Sunday and is being held at a police station in Leeds.
