Green light for Leeds music event
Leeds Festival 2004
Over 50,000 fans will be in the audience each day
Permission has been granted for this year's Leeds Festival to again be held at Bramham Park near Wetherby.

Members of Leeds City Council granted a licence for the three-day rock music event at a meeting on Tuesday.

This will be the third year the festival has been held at the privately owned stately home.

Details are expected to be announced next month of the artists appearing at the 2005 festival, which takes place at the end of August.

The festival moved to Bramham Park in 2003 after several years at Temple Newsham in Leeds.

The last two festivals there were disrupted by violent behaviour but the Bramham events have taken place without incident.
