A service to commemorate the anniversary of the first British nuclear test is being held in Leeds on Sunday. Members of the Test Veterans' Association will gather at Leeds Parish Church at 1030BST along with MPs and city councillors. The experiments were carried out between 1952-1967 off Christmas Island and other sites. A ceremony at the veterans' memorial will take place after the service.
