| Parents are to stage a protest over a planned school closure in West Yorkshire, claiming the "heart of their community would be ripped out". Rodley Village Primary School in Leeds is being considered for closure due to falling pupil numbers. But residents say it would cause massive disruption to youngsters. They will be holding a "pram push" demonstration along the route which pupils would have to take to get to a new school on Monday.
