A 40-year-old man from Huddersfield has appeared in court accused of murdering his wife. Debra Briggs, a 37-year-old nurse, was found dead by police at a house in the Oakes area of Huddersfield in the early hours of Saturday.
Michael Peter Briggs was charged with her murder and made a brief appearance before magistrates in Huddersfield.
Mr Briggs was remanded in custody and will appear at Bradford Crown Court next week.
