He returned to Premier League action in February 2009. Mr Clarke said it had been nice to meet Eduardo in better circumstances. "We had a good chat and he thanked us personally for the treatment he received that day. "In fact, all the Arsenal staff were full of praise for the treatment we gave Eduardo, and we received an official letter of thanks from the club shortly after the injury occurred." Ms Essex said it had been nice to get a personal thank you. "He was gracious and sincere with his praise for treatment that day, and it was nice to be recognised by the injured player for the job we do."
