Several roads in Herefordshire remain closed due to flooding following heavy rain on Sunday. Pupils from two schools in Ledbury, Bosbury Primary and John Masefield High, were sent home early on Monday because of the weather. The Met Office had issued weather warnings for the Midlands, the east, south east and London, but the warnings no longer apply for the Midlands. Flood warnings remain in place on the River Avon in Worcestershire. Home time Bosbury Primary School closed just after lunch because of road closures and the threat of more rain. Pupils from John Masefield High School were also sent home early because of the weather forecast. The A4110 Church Road in Leintwardine has reopened but Paytoe Lane, also in Leintwardine, remains closed. The C1001 at Pencombe is also flooded. Herefordshire Council said the B4220 at Cradley was flooded but passable at the bottom of Fromes Hill. Flood warnings Watery Lane in Hereford and Watery Lane in Yarkhill are also flooded, and both remain closed. The B4361 in Orleton was closed by the Maidenhead pub and Merton Meadow Car Park was also flooded. - River Leam between Marton and Leamington Spa
- River Stour from Shipston-on-Stour to Clifford Chambers
- River Wye from Hereford to Ross-on-Wye
