Prize bulldogs taken by thieves
Pictures of the dog have been placed on the internet
Geoffrey Green is offering a reward to catch the thieves
Five pedigree bulldogs, all from prize-winning stock, have been taken by thieves from a Black Country house.

The thieves broke into owner Geoffrey Green's home in Wren's Nest Road in Dudley and stole three pups and two adult bulldogs over the weekend.

One of the dogs was due to be shown at Crufts and another needs eye treatment.

Mr Green has put pictures of all the dogs on the internet and has offered a substantial reward for information leading to the arrest of the thieves.

He fears the dogs were stolen to order to be used for Christmas presents.

"I would've rather them to have taken everything out of the house and just leave me with my dogs," he said.

"Everything in the house is just possessions that can be replaced. I can't replace the dogs."

West Midlands Police said they were investigating the theft.
