Late-night bus for young people
A late-night bus service has been launched in Birmingham offering services to young people in a bid to stop them getting into trouble.

The Beyond Midnight Mobile Outreach Bus is aimed at those who are alienated, Birmingham Youth Service said.

Head Youssif Meah said the service tries to improve quality of life.

He said: "Most of our young people are talented and, given the right opportunities and guidance, they will move into positive destinations."

Mr Meah added: "We're aiming at those young people who, for a long time, have been alienated from our services.

"They're probably not engaging in education and training.

"They probably don't feel that much loved by the services we provide.

"We're aiming at those who are out and about living their lives at that time of night."
