A Birmingham man has been released without charge after being questioned for two weeks over an alleged plot to blow up transatlantic airliners. Tayib Rauf, 22, was one of a number of people arrested in London, Birmingham and High Wycombe, Bucks, on 10 August.
Mr Rauf was released from custody in Birmingham on Wednesday. His brother Rashid remains in custody in Pakistan over the same alleged plot.
Eleven men have been charged in the UK and nine more remain in custody.
The Rauf family home in Ward End in Birmingham remained sealed off on Thursday.
