No-frills airline takes to skies
The first passengers to use the latest low cost airline at Birmingham Airport have flown to Spain on Friday.

BMI Baby's first official passenger flight left for Alicante at 10am.

The airline will be operating 135 flights every week to nine European destinations. Flights to other destinations start at the end of March.

A spokesperson said: "Birmingham is set to become BMI Baby's largest UK base with more choice and our tiny fares available to even more destinations."

The airline is operating flights from Birmingham to Alicante, Amsterdam, Belfast, Knock, Edinburgh, Malaga, Palma, Prague and Geneva.
