A special quiz to test the knowledge of William Shakespeare's fans will be staged by the University of Birmingham's Shakespeare Institute. The event on 26 April in Stratford-upon-Avon is part of the poet's birthday celebrations.
The annual open day commemorates Shakespeare's birth in 1564, and will include a play reading by the institute's students of the 17th Century comedy 'The Wooing of Frolic'.
There will also be a lecture on 'Shakespeare at The Movies' by Professor Russell Jackson, director of the Institute.
'Experience the magic'
Professor Jackson said: "This is a very important date for the Institute and Stratford as a whole.
"The Institute is an important centre of learning right in the heart of Stratford.
"We hope that as many people as possible will come along and join in the fun and experience the magic of the Shakespeare."
The event runs from 1215 BST to 1700 BST at the Shakespeare Institute, Church Street, Stratford-upon-Avon.
