Stone attack bus services return
A bus company has agreed to reinstate two village bus services which were withdrawn following a number of attacks from stone-throwing youths.

Operator Arriva suspended the services from travelling through Thornley, County Durham, after 1900 BST when a driver was injured in an attack.

Talks were held between the firm, Durham County Council, Durham Police and Easington District Council.

Arriva has agreed to reinstate the bus services from Friday.
