Police have charged a man with the murder of a mother-of-three found stabbed to death in her Teesside home.

The body of Jillian Froom, 35, was discovered on Friday by one of her three sons, in the living room of her home in Burnsall Road, Middlesbrough.

A post-mortem examination carried out on Saturday revealed Ms Froom, who was mother to three sons, aged eight, 10 and 16, had suffered stab wounds.

A 38-year-old man will appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court on Monday.

More than 30 Cleveland Police officers have been involved in the investigation into Ms Froom's death.
