Drivers face random breath tests
Motorist being breathalysed
Every motorist involved in a collision will be tested
Drivers on Teesside are being told to prepare for random drink and drug tests in the run-up to Christmas.

Officers say they will also breathalyse every driver involved in a collision in an effort to remove the "menace" of irresponsible motorists.

Cleveland Police said the action would target the hard core of offenders who continue to drive under the influence of drink or drugs.

About 60 people a month are arrested for drink driving in the force area.
