Police recover fake goods in raid
Police have recovered counterfeit goods valued at thousands of pounds in a raid at a house on Teesside.

Suspect pirate DVDs, fake sportswear and 50,000 cigarettes were found in the early morning operation in Middlesbrough on Monday.

A spokesman for Cleveland Police said the goods were discovered at a house in the town's Pallister Park.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of money laundering and later released on police bail.

The spokesman said the goods were probably being targeted at Christmas shoppers.
