A meeting is due to take place in Stockton to discuss the future of a local estate. Council officials will meet local residents and church representatives to talk about the proposed demolition of several streets of houses on the Hardwick estate.
Stockton Council has already started demolition in parts of the estate and approved a decision to knock down more houses in August, as part of its 'vision' for Hardwick.
The plans could see roads north of Waldridge Road being demolished, but a lot of residents have raised concerns over the plans.
Individual concerns
In a statement, Stockton Council said: "We will be developing the detailed plans for the Hardwick estate hand in hand with the community in the same way we've done with Mandale in Thornaby.
"We understand that people have concerns over the regeneration of the estate.
"We will try to resolve these at the one to one appointments that will be offered and will start on 29 September.
"We will meet residents and the clergy [on Monday] to listen to the issues raised."
