Sussex Police said they were also looking for non-Polish speakers too |
Sussex Police want Polish speakers to become police community support officers (PCSOs) in the county. Sussex Police have launched a campaign to recruit people with excellent multilingual skills so officers and staff can engage with Polish speakers.
The force aims to recruit four PCSOs to be based in Eastbourne, Bognor, Brighton and Crawley.
Angela Packebusch, of Sussex Police, said the campaign supported its drive towards equality and diversity.
She added: "I'd like to stress that this obviously doesn't exclude anyone who doesn't speak Polish from applying to become a PCSO.
"On the contrary, our recruitment window for PCSOs is currently open and we welcome applications from people who can offer a variety of different skills and backgrounds."
