Jordan is said to be frantic with worry

Australian Andre, 34, fell ill at the couple's Surrey home on Saturday.

Jordan, who is pregnant with their second child, dialled 999 and he was taken to East Surrey Hospital. He was discharged but readmitted on Sunday.

The couple say they do not have an expected discharge date. Andre has had numerous tests, including a brain scan.

Andre began feeling ill during a promotional tour of the US earlier in April and spent a week in bed with a stomach complaint on his return.

A friend of the couple said: "When he was taken to hospital, he was so weak he had to be helped on board the ambulance.

"Jordan is frantic with worry. Obviously she's desperate to get to the bottom of what's wrong."

It is not yet known whether Andre may be suffering from viral or bacterial meningitis.

Son scalded

It is the third health scare to hit the family.

On New Year's Eve, Jordan's four-year-old son Harvey was taken to hospital after scalding himself in a bath at the couple's home in Ockley.

And in 2002, Jordan, whose real name is Katie Price, was treated for a rare form of cancer. Doctors removed a malignant growth from her finger.

Jordan has two children - Harvey and one-year-old Junior. She is expecting another baby with Andre.

Harvey, whose father is footballer Dwight Yorke, was born with a growth disorder and is partially blind.
