Suffolk County Council is looking at getting funding for the Offshore Renewable Energy Centre at Ness Point - close to a new wind turbine.

The idea behind the scheme is to bring together industries involved in renewable energy - making it the major centre in Britain for the technology.

It would include business units as well as a library and conference facilities.

The council may approach the East of England Development Agency for funding to get the project off the ground.
