Proposal for 6,000 houses on show

Plans explaining how a so-called eco town in Warwickshire might look have gone on display.

Property developers St Modwen want to build the town on the former Army base in Long Marston and it has been put on a government shortlist.

But Stratford-upon-Avon District Council has said it will not support plans for 6,000 "carbon neutral" homes.

The plans are going on display at Statford-upon-Avon, Chipping Camden and Evesham this weekend.
