A new clinic has opened in Staffordshire to help soldiers with mental health problems. The NHS drop-in centre will be open twice a month at the Royal British Legion club in Stafford.
Organisers say the clinic will offer advice and help for problems such as anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder.
It is among six UK clinics being piloted for two years. If successful, the programme may roll out nationwide.
The Stafford clinic will also be a base where former soldiers can get help with physical injuries and issues such as housing and employment.
The clinic is operated by the South Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare Foundation NHS Trust.
