Police chief gets public feedback
Chris Sims
Chris Sims said he wants to listen to victims' experiences
A police force's new chief constable is contacting people who have called 999 or their local police station to find out what they think of the service.

Chris Sims, of Staffordshire Police, will speak to two people each week.

He said it is part of his commitment to listen to the experience of victims and give the information to officers.

"What I'm getting from people is some really interesting feedback about their experience of policing and I think I can use that constructively," he said.
