| Some 5,000 homes in Stoke-on-Trent will not be able to get satellite TV when the analogue signal is switched off in the city in 2011, a council says. The homes are connected to a community aerial system which can pick up the Freeview service, but not satellite. Stoke-on-Trent City Council said it will explain the situation to residents and added that it accepts money will have to spent to rectify the problem. The switch from analogue to digital TV should be completed nationwide by 2012.
