Robbie poster to boost campaign
A Staffordshire charity is hoping a gift from Robbie Williams to his mother will help raise money for them.

The poster to promote Let me Entertain You is being sold by the North Staffs Asperger and Autism Association.

Williams gave the signed 5ft promotional poster to his mother, Jan Williams, in 1998.

It has been in her London home ever since but she decided to donate it to the charity for which she has become a patron.

It will be used to launch the North Staffs Asperger and Autism Association's Five Million campaign to build a centre and health clinic for Asperger and Autistic sufferers in Stoke-On-Trent.

'Unique picture'

Charity chairman, Kevin Healey, told BBC News: "It is great that Jan has come on board as patron with her daughter Sally.

"It is quite a unique and special picture to have so it was really good of her to donate it to us.

"We are trying to build a unique centre, probably the first of its kind in the UK, which would offer crches for autism and Aspergers sufferers, educational outreach support, diagnostic intervention and independent living flats."

Bids for the poster and other DVD's, Cd's and videos signed by Robbie can be made on the association's website or by phone before 31 October.
