Firm ordered to take down masts
A mobile phone company has been ordered to take down two masts erected in Stoke-on-Trent.

The masts were erected at Trentham Golf Club and at Direct Diesels off Westport Road in Burslem in October last year.

Retrospective planning applications were lodged but Stoke-on-Trent city council told the company they were not acceptable and rejected them.

Vodafone has been told by the council it must remove both of the masts by the end of March.

The company can appeal which can take up to a year to be heard.
