Town pubs ban for troublemakers
Thirty people involved in drunken and disorderly behaviour have been banned from venues in a Stoke-on-Trent town.

The exclusion orders, issued by the Nightlife Partnership which is funded by businesses, will keep them out of 23 venues in Hanley for up to two years.

Photographs of the people are being sent to pubs and clubs in the town.

Police say although the orders are civil in nature, anyone breaching them will be arrested and risks an anti-social behaviour order from the courts.

Staffordshire Police say it is a case of working with businesses in the run-up to Christmas to ensure that the vast majority of people have good nights out.
