A national memorial site in Staffordshire has received almost �90,000. Advantage West Midlands has given the grant to the National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas.
The money will be used to improve roads and car parks at the 150-acre site.
Arboretum founder David Childs said they received a lot of complaints about the condition of the roads and the car park at the site.
"It would be fair to say over 95% of the relatively few complaints we receive have been linked to the condition of the roads and car park.
"This will be an improvement that will be particularly appreciated by our elderly or disabled visitors and all of us, staff and visitors, will have a far more pleasant season as a result."
The National Memorial Arboretum opened in 2000 and is dedicated to armed forces personnel and civilians who served in conflicts across the world.
