Talks over old ground site
Talks on the redevelopment of Stoke City Football Club's old home will take place in the next few weeks.

Residents have become increasingly concerned at the state of the land where the Victoria Ground once stood.

Stoke vacated the ground five years ago, and have since played at the nearby Britannia Stadium.

Developers St Modwen are inviting bids from interested parties to build on the Victoria Ground site.

Talks for the 16-acre site will take place with the city council over the next few weeks.

Around seventy houses will be built between the River Trent and Campbell Road.

The development was held up until the A500 upgrade was given the go-ahead.
