Robbie's dad Pete Conway (centre) led the audition panel |
Robbie Williams is to be played by a female fan in his latest video. Music student Rebecca Durrant, 20, from Harlow, Essex, is one of three people given the chance to appear as the multi-millionaire pop idol in the video for Something Beautiful.
Williams' dad, club entertainer Pete Conway, led a panel of three judges who chose the winners after a day of auditions on Saturday.
Durrant was chosen along with Peter Caruana, 29, and Bjrn Wenner, 23, because they had the "essence" of the Stoke-on-Trent singer.
Dream realised
The lucky trio will perform as Williams in the promo to be shot over the next week.
Durrant, who is from Harlow in Essex but attends Hertford Regional College in Hertfordshire, said: "It's a dream come true.
"I was nervous at the audition but I really wanted to prove that I could do it."

Caruana is a resting actor from Manchester who performs a Robbie tribute act.
He joked: "They say everyone is entitled to 15 minutes of fame and I am still due about four minutes and 27 seconds."
German student Wenner, who is from Hamburg, flew in specially for the audition.
He said: "I want to have fun in life and I want to have fun in what I am doing and work for the chance to entertain."
Conway, who was joined on the panel by choreographer Les Child and casting director Mark Summers, said: "The whole day was very exciting with lots of people with lots of enthusiasm.
"It was very difficult to choose the three because so many deserved to be there, the bottom line was that the panel had to choose the three they thought the best from a very talented bunch."
