Man charged with murdering wife

Johanna Croxton's body was found at the family home in Hastings
A 24-year-old man has appeared in court accused of murdering his wife.

Jonathan James Croxton, of Plynlimmon Road, in Hastings, East Sussex, is charged with killing Johanna Croxton, 21, of the same address.

Mrs Croxton's body was found at their home on Wednesday. A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out to establish the cause of death.

Mr Croxton was remanded in custody by Hastings magistrates on Friday and is due to return to court on 23 December.
