The Great Velcro's rabbit was stolen as he performed a magic trick |
A magician's white rabbit disappeared unexpectedly when an audience member jumped onto the stage and stole it. The Great Velcro was 30 minutes into a show at Brighton's Komedia comedy club when a man ran onstage and stole the rabbit and the top hat it was in.
Members of the audience chased after the man but he managed to get away with the rabbit, called Georgina, after his audacious theft last Thursday evening.
Sussex Police want anyone who knows where the rabbit is to contact them.

The thief is described as white, aged in his mid to late 20s, 5ft 10ins tall, skinny and with blond hair tied back in a ponytail or dreadlocks.
He was wearing jeans and a green jacket.
The Great Velcro said he hopes the person who took Georgina will look after her and if so "then that's ok".
He said: "This person may think that using a rabbit in a magic trick is not the right thing to do but I only use her on rare occasions as she's a family pet.
"But she won't get the same attention as she did as a magician's rabbit as people at shows always want to stroke her."
