Armed gang steal McDonald's cash
A man working at a fast-food restaurant in East Sussex was injured on Wednesday night when four armed men burst into the premises demanding money.

The armed robbery at McDonald's, on the Ravenside Retail Park in Bexhill, happened as it was closing, and there were no customers present.

The robbers, who were all armed, forced members of staff to hand over money.

The injured worker was hit on the back of the head and shoulders. Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses.

Anybody who saw anything suspicious at the time of the incident - 2250 BST - is asked to contact the police or Crimestoppers.
