Drivers have been told to expect delays in the Don Valley and Attercliffe areas and towards the M1 corridor.

From 0400 BST on Thursday Whitworth Lane, Howden Road, Fell Road, Old Hall Road and Leeds Road were closed.

From 2200 BST Coleridge Road, Attercliffe Common and Beverley Road will be closed.

Diversions will be in place.
