Two killed in traffic collision

Two people have been killed in a road traffic collision involving a lorry and motorcycle in South Yorkshire.

The motorcycle was travelling from Maltby on the A631 when it collided with a lorry travelling in the opposite direction just before 1100 BST.

Both people on the motorcycle died at the scene and police have described the male lorry driver as "shocked".

South Yorkshire Police said the road would be closed for some time and have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
