Town mounts purge on dog fouling
A zero tolerance policy on dog fouling in public places is being extended across the borough in Doncaster.

The town council's Community First Officers and Community Safety Wardens will issue fixed penalty notices to irresponsible dog owners.

A tough stance on the problem in the Town Field proved a success and the scheme is now being run borough-wide.

Helen Briggs, the head of the Community First scheme said owners who repeatedly fail to clean up will be fined 50.
