Drug dogs sniff out jail stashes
Sniffer dog patrols are to be used in prisons to help reduce drug abuse.

About 30 dogs will be introduced to jails between Northallerton, Hull and South Yorkshire.

Prison governors from across the region will have a chance to see the animals demonstrate their skills at Moorland jail, near Doncaster, on Wednesday.

The dogs, which include labradors, will then start random searches across the region's jails, detecting even the smallest amounts of drugs.
