A third man has been charged with murder after a drive-by shooting in Sheffield.

Gerald Smith, 42, was attacked as he left the Afro-Caribbean Club, Spital Hill, on 18 December.

The father-of-four, who was born in Jamaica, was taken to the city's Northern General Hospital where he died.

Police have now charged Christopher McKenzie, 19, from Nottingham, with his murder.

He appeared before Sheffield Magistrates Court on Saturday.

Earlier in the investigation Ezra Taylor, 25, and Leon Bryan, 20, also from the Nottingham area, were charged with murder.
