Nearly 20 posts at the University of Bath could be made redundant as part of cost-cutting measures. The University has announced a savings target of about £3m for 2009/10. The savings will be made by not filling some vacant positions, staff voluntarily cutting their work hours and not extending fixed-term contracts. The savings were part of a long-term plan to provide "the best possible facilities for our students and staff", a statement said.
