Mr Flook told the house how a field was turned into a camp in 48 hours | Legal moves to reclaim land used by "gypsy camps" takes too long, the House of Commons has been told. Taunton MP, Adrian Flook said a field at Curry, Somerset, had been "turned into an illegal gypsy camp" over a 48-hour period last weekend. He asked Commons Leader Peter Hain when legislation to speed up the process to "turn it back to its natural state". Mr Hain acknowledged the problem, and said Mr Flook's point "had been put very effectively."
