Judge orders travellers to move
Travellers who have been living on a field in Gloucestershire for three years must leave, it has been ruled.

A High Court judge sitting in London said the group must quit their homes on land near Gotherington by next April.

The group was originally asked to leave by Tewkesbury Borough Council after a public inquiry in October 2002, but failed to meet the July 2003 deadline.

On Tuesday Mr Justice Hodge said the group had moved on to the site knowing there was no planning permission.
