Skateboarder attacked in street
A Somerset teenager has been attacked whilst out skateboarding in Somerton.

The 13-year-old boy allegedly bumped into a woman coming out of a chemist in West Street about 1730 GMT on 3 November.

Five minutes later the boy was confronted by a man who jumped out of his car outside the Unicorn pub.

Police say the teenager was punched in the chest and grabbed by the throat before being threatened if he went near the assailant's wife again.

The man is described as white, aged 50 to 60 years old, around 6 ft 4 ins tall, of large build, with grey receding hair and a grey beard.

He is described as having a large nose and spoke with a foreign accent, possibly South African.

He was wearing blue jeans, trainers, a black T-shirt and green shirt.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
