The site is near a nuclear power station |
Plans for a wind farm in Somerset are being opened up to public debate. Your Energy says it is looking at the feasibility of an undecided number of turbines near the nuclear power station at Hinkley Point.
If the project gets the go ahead, Your Energy says it will power almost 20,000 homes.
Charles Sandham, director of Your Energy, said: "We are carrying out an Environmental Impact Assessment for one possible layout on the site, but the final location and number of turbines have yet to be determined.
"We want to find out what local people think about our potential project before we finalise our proposals."
English Nature and the Somerset Wildlife Trust have advised on the scheme.
The meetings are at the Stogursey Village Hall on 8 December at 1800 GMT, and at Cannington College between 1100 GMT and 1800 on 9 December.
