Man killed as deer hits car
A man has died after a deer hit his car in a freak accident.

Police investigating the incident say the deer was in collision with a Ford Escort travelling along the A37 in Lydford-on Fosse, Somerset, on Friday 13 June.

The deer then hit a second car, a Subaru Forester travelling in the same direction, and struck the driver.

The man, who has not been named by police, was taken to Yeovil District Hospital, but died on Monday 16 June.

Police investigating the accident have appealed for anyone who saw what happened, or has any information about the crash, to contact them.
