Passengers will have to change at Luton on Sunday |
Train passengers in the East Midlands are being warned to expect delays on the Midland Mainline service on Sunday. Work on the new Channel Tunnel Rail Link means no trains are running from St Pancras in London.
Passengers will be taken to Luton where they will transfer to the Thameslink service to King's Cross.
All Midland Mainline tickets will be accepted on Thameslink services between Kings Cross Thameslink and Luton.
St Pancras station will become an international terminal with a direct link to Europe when the three-year project is completed.
Midland Mainline is operating from a purpose-built temporary station at St Pancras until spring 2006.
The 5.2bn project is due to be completed in 2007.
The new link will reduce the time it takes passengers to reach other European cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, Cologne and Brussels.
