New off-roaders to catch bikers
Nottinghamshire Police is to revive its motorcycle division with two new off-road bikes.

They are being bought to help officers respond to calls about nuisance bikers, there were 4,000 calls in 2004.

The division was scrapped in 2002 although the force kept their off-road bikes, but there were concerns officers did not use them enough to be safe.

Following a rise in complaints about nuisance bikers two new bikes are to be bought and two officers trained.
